There are few things in life that are more enjoyable to me than camping. Something about being away from all the stresses of life, and in God's creation is so energizing to me. This past week I went camping with 5 high school yougn men from my church. It was one of the more incredible moments for me this past year.
There is nothing like having a conversation while fishing out of a canoe, or talking about personal struggles while cleaning dishes with sand, or arguing, hurting one another and reconciling while sitting around a camp fire. No distractions, just each other, conversation, bugs, b.o., farting, and deep conversation.
Anyone have a camping story, where God used the time to build bridges, make peace, or simple help us laugh??
